In short

I built an online scorecard that helps agency leaders spot where leadership is holding their business back, and gives Slipstream a steady way to start conversations with potential clients.

The brief

[One or two sentences in Zac's words, e.g. "Slipstream wanted to turn its leadership expertise into a quick online tool that agency founders could use on their own, and that would lead to follow-up conversations."]

What I built

  • A 16-question scorecard that takes less than 10 minutes. Questions are grouped into four leadership levels: Leadership at the Top, The Leadership Team, Managers, and High-Potential Talent.
  • Questions that change to suit who's answering. People first say whether they're a founder, an MD or senior leader, or an HR or people lead, and the wording adjusts to fit.
  • Instant, colour-coded results. Each level is marked red, amber or green, with plain-English advice: "This level is working well", "Worth paying attention to" or "This is likely where growth is stalling".
  • A fuller report, unlocked with an email address. Visitors can enter their email to get a more detailed write-up and a PDF to keep or share. Each one becomes a lead Slipstream can follow up.
  • A clear next step. The results invite people to book a free session with Slipstream's founder.
  • Progress saving and sharing. People can pick up where they left off on the same device, retake the scorecard, or share it.
  • Matched to the client's brand. It uses Slipstream's own fonts and style, and works well on phones as well as computers.

Why it matters for your business

The same approach works for local businesses too: a "which haircut suits you?" quiz, a quick quote calculator for a tradesperson, or a booking enquiry form that actually gets filled in.

The result

[Only real, checkable outcomes Slipstream agrees to share, e.g. "Now used as part of Slipstream's [campaigns / website]". No invented figures.]

Start screen of the Agency Leadership Scorecard, showing the Slipstream logo and three role options: Founder or Co-Founder, MD or Senior Leader, and HR Director or People Lead.

Concept projects

These are example sites I've designed to show what I can do for local businesses like yours. They're not real businesses. They show the kind of website you could have.

Concept project

[The Corner Cup] – fictional café, Roath

A warm, simple website for an independent café, with a menu that's easy to read on a phone, opening hours, a map and a link to order ahead.

What it shows: A design built for phones first, an easy-to-read menu, local search setup and simple updates.

Concept project

[Fade & Co.] – fictional barber, Canton

A bold, modern site for a barbershop, with a price list, a gallery of cuts and a "Book now" button that links to a booking app.

What it shows: A photo gallery, a booking link, tap-to-call and a strong visual style.

Your business could be next

I'm taking on new local clients now. If you'd like a website that works as hard as you do, let's talk.
