Who I am

I am Zac Bean, a sole trader based in Cardiff. I build websites for small businesses. You can reach me at hello@zacbean.dev.

What I collect

If you use the contact form or email me, I receive the details you choose to send. That usually means your name, email address, and whatever you write about your business. You can also add a phone number, business type, location, website, budget and timing if you want to.

Why I use it

I only use those details to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to run the project. I do not sell your data, and I do not use it for marketing lists.

Where it goes and how long I keep it

Messages from the contact form are sent through Cloudflare (which hosts this site) straight to my email inbox. I do not keep a separate database of enquiries on this website. Emails sit in my inbox like any other message. If we do not start a project, I delete the enquiry within 12 months. If we do work together, I keep what I need for the project and for basic records, then delete it when it is no longer needed.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies or analytics tools that track you across other sites.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, or ask me to stop using it. Email hello@zacbean.dev and I will deal with it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
